MEET HANNAH
Hello!
Thank you for taking the time to visit my website. I am an avid believer in counseling for everyone. I first went to counseling when I was in college and it was during that time that I realized the importance and impact it had in my own life. I believe in the connection between physical, mental, spiritual, and emotional health and investing in the connection between all four.
My heart as a counselor is to create a safe and caring environment for my clients where they feel accepted and can begin healing. In creating that environment, I hope to build a relationship where my clients feel supported and that we collaborate in their healing journey. I believe that the experiences and relationships in childhood and adolescence have a profound impact on our lives as adults including our thoughts, emotions, values, identity, and worldview.
As a Christian I believe in the inherent worth of each individual and believe that faith aids in healing. However I also understand and respect each individual's spiritual and faith identity and will honor where you are on your journey. I also recognize the pain that faith and religion can cause in an individual's life and have a desire to work with those struggling with the faith community.
